Stela Ivanišević Curić

Stela Ivanišević Curić was born in 1992 in Imotski (Croatia). She began her musical education in 1998 in mandolin orchestra "Imotski". In 2001, she enroled into Music school "Dr. fra Ivan Glibotić" in Imotski, playing piano. In 2004, she continued her musical education in Music school „Makarska” in Makarska (Croatia), playing the mandolin in the class of prof. Ivana Kenk Kalebić. From 2005 to 2009, she regularly participated in the state competition in Opatija and in the "Mandolina Imota" festival in Imotski in the category of chamber ensembles and won numerous high prizes. In 2005, she won the first absolute prize at the international competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy (chamber music). As a soloist, she collaborated with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, the European Youth Symphony Orchestra, the mandolin orchestra «A. Bocci" in Siena (Italy) and with a string orchestra from Kolin (Czech Republic). In 2009, she entered the Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan (Italy) in the class of prof. Ugo Orlandi (mandolin) and in 2010 the Arts Academy in Split, majoring in music theory. She actively participates in a chamber ensemble with pianist Severin Filipović under the name "Echo Momentum" since 2006, holding numerous independent concerts. In 2019, they also performed at the Concert Series of Young Musicians mo. Vinko Lesić in the organization of Jeunesse Musicales Split (Croatia). During her studies, she won numerous awards and scholarships from the Milan Conservatory as a soloist and as a member of "Idillio" mandolin quartet. In February 2015, she graduated from the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory in Milan with the highest grade and honors, and in July 2016, she graduated from the Art Academy in Split under the mentorship of prof. Vlado Sunko. She currently works at the "Josip Hatze" music school in Split, and over the years, both she and her students have won a number of high prizes at national and international competitions. She is an active member of the mandolin orchestra "Sanctus Domnio", the Split Mandolin Quartet, the "Da Capo" quartet and the "Echo Momentum" duo.

Severin Filipović

Severin Filipović was born in 1992 in Makarska (Croatia). He started learning the piano at the age of six at the Makarska School of Music, and in the same school he received elementary and secondary music education in the class of Olga Račić, prof. During his high school education, he collaborated with the International Youth Orchestra (Neumarkt) and played with the Dubrovnik Philharmonic. He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of prof. Lidija Stanković, and he completed his Master's studies at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Music in Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel) in Belgium in the class of prof. Aleksandar Madžar. He also finishes his Postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of prof. Lidije Stanković, and is currently studying Artistic Development at the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of prof. Đorđe Stanetti. He is the winner of the prize from the "Jelena Pavlović" fund for the best piano student of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade for 2016. He has won numerous awards at national and international competitions, including 1st prize at the 18th and 23rd International Competition for Young Pianists - Šabac (Serbia), 1st prize at the 2015 Republic Chamber Competition in Belgrade (piano duo), participation in the semifinals of the 44th and 49th "Jeunesses musicales" competition in Belgrade, and 1st prize and Grand Prix at the 6th International Piano Competition in Smederevo (Serbia). He collaborated and attended master classes with many renowned professors and pedagogues such as Arbo Valdma, Aleksandar Madžar, Jacques Rouvier, Ruben Dalibaltayan, Michael Uhde, Amy Lin, Boris Kraljević…
